> One command each to add the BusinessLoanBroker.ai MCP server to Claude Code or Codex, sign in, and script or test the business loan application flow.

Developers testing an integration, or owners who live in the terminal, can add the server with one command in Claude Code or Codex. Sign in happens in the browser and the tools are available in the next prompt.

## Key facts
- **Claude Code:** claude mcp add --transport http businessloanbroker https://mcp.businessloanbroker.ai/mcp
- **Codex:** codex mcp add businessloanbroker --url https://mcp.businessloanbroker.ai/mcp
- **Sign in:** /mcp in Claude Code, codex mcp login in Codex

## How do I add it to Claude Code?

```
`claude mcp add --transport http businessloanbroker https://mcp.businessloanbroker.ai/mcp claude /mcp # choose businessloanbroker and complete the browser sign in /mcp # confirm it shows as connected and lists tools`
```

Use `--scope user` to make it available in every project, or leave the default to keep it to the current one.

## How do I add it to Codex?

```
`codex mcp add businessloanbroker --url https://mcp.businessloanbroker.ai/mcp codex mcp login businessloanbroker codex mcp list`
```

## What is a good first test?

Ask the agent to read the application contract and list the required fields, then to check readiness on an empty application. Both are reads and show the shape of the data without touching anything. Then try a full dry run with sample documents up to, but not including, submission. The [tool reference](https://businessloanbroker.ai/agents/tools/) and [workflow](https://businessloanbroker.ai/agents/workflow/) describe each step.

## Building a product on top?

Use the [REST API](https://businessloanbroker.ai/agents/api/) with webhooks for the server side, and the MCP for the owner facing chat. The OpenAPI spec is linked on the API page.

## Questions and answers
**Can I run the server locally?**

It is a hosted remote server; there is nothing to run. If your client only supports stdio, use a small HTTP to stdio bridge.
