# Use Claude to apply for a business loan

Claude supports remote MCP servers as custom connectors. Add the server URL once in Settings, sign in with a free business account, and Claude can collect your documents, fill the application, match lenders and submit when you say so. The same server works in Claude Code with one command.

## How do I add it to Claude?

- Open Settings, then Connectors.

- Choose Add custom connector.

- Name it BusinessLoanBroker and paste `https://mcp.businessloanbroker.ai/mcp`. Leave the OAuth settings at their defaults.

- Click Add, then Connect, and sign in or create your free business account in the browser window.

- Back in Claude, start a chat and enable the connector from the tools menu.

Organization admins on Team and Enterprise plans may need to allow custom connectors first.

## What should I say first?

State the amount, the purpose and the timeline, and attach your documents in the same message: "Get my business a $60,000 line of credit. Here are 6 months of bank statements and our last two tax returns." Claude will read the files, fill the application, tell you what is missing and show you which lenders fit. ## What will Claude do, and what will it ask me first?

Claude can create your business profile, upload documents, run autofill and show you the numbers it pulled, check what is missing, run lender matching and explain the results. It will ask you before choosing lenders and again before submitting, and it will tell you exactly what will be sent and to whom. ## Questions and answers
**Does Claude keep my documents?**

Documents go to your business account on the platform. Claude's own retention follows Anthropic's policies for your plan. You can revoke the connector in Settings at any time.

**Can I disconnect later?**

Yes. Remove the connector in Claude's Settings or revoke the client from your business account. Either stops access immediately.
