## What should an owner say to start?

## What are the two confirmations, word for word?

**Selection.** "These are the lenders I suggest: (list, with product and indicative cost). Choosing them means they may see your file once you submit. Do you want all of them, some, or different ones?"

**Submission.** "I am about to send your application and these documents (list) to (lenders). They may ask follow up questions or run a credit check, which they will disclose first. Approval is not guaranteed. You can stop here. Shall I submit?"

## Questions and answers
**Can the owner just say 'get me a loan'?**

Yes. The agent will ask the four scoping questions. Giving amount, purpose, timeline and documents up front saves a round trip.

**Should the agent recommend a specific offer?**

It should explain each offer clearly and say which is cheapest and which is fastest. The decision stays with the owner.
