Give ChatGPT a rough draft and it returns a clean proposal, a job post or a reply to a difficult customer. Upload a spreadsheet and its data analysis mode finds the trend. How much does ChatGPT for small business cost?

For one owner, Plus, listed at $20 a month at the time of writing. For two or more people, Business, priced per user with an admin console. OpenAI also offers Free, Go, Pro and Enterprise. Free covers everyday chat with limits; Go is cheaper in some countries. Plus adds far more usage, stronger models, deep research and custom assistants. Pro, listed at $200 a month, is for heavy daily use. Enterprise adds single sign on and retention controls.

How do ChatGPT connectors, apps and MCP work?

ChatGPT reaches other products three ways. ChatGPT connectors link it to Google Drive, Gmail, Dropbox and similar sources. ChatGPT apps are products in its directory, built on MCP, the open standard for the short, fixed list of things an assistant may do inside a product. Custom MCP connectors are servers you add by address in developer mode, which is how you add ours. A custom assistant is a version of ChatGPT you build without code, with your own instructions and files.

What are the limits and honest downsides?

ChatGPT will sometimes state something false with full confidence, and it cannot tell you when. Numbers it reads from a document are usually right; numbers it produces to fill a gap are guesses, so verify anything without a source.

Second, data handling: on personal plans your chats may be used to improve the models unless you turn that off, at the time of writing; Business and Enterprise do not train on your content by default. Third, a human must check anything that goes out: a customer reply, a contract clause, a loan application. Your accountant still closes the books. How do you use ChatGPT to apply for a business loan?
