How should you use this directory?

Start with the product you need, then narrow by country. If you know you want a line of credit, the online term and line group has a dozen options; if you are waiting on invoices, go straight to the factoring group. Canadian businesses should check the Canada focused row first, because most US online lenders do not lend across the border. If you are not sure which product fits, our loan types hub explains each one in plain terms, and the comparisons put the common pairs side by side.

Every profile links to its two closest alternatives, so you can move between lenders without starting over. The table below groups all 50 by category.

Bank, online or specialty lender: which type fits you?

Banks and SBA lenders are the cheapest money if you qualify, and they usually want two years of history, good credit and a full set of financials, with a timeline measured in weeks. Online lenders decide in days on bank statements alone and cost more for that speed. Specialty lenders, meaning factors, equipment lessors, revenue based funders and SR&ED financiers, lend against a specific asset or cash flow rather than your credit, so they can say yes when a bank says no. Our online lenders versus banks comparison goes deeper, and why loans get denied explains the most common reasons a file fails.

What does each profile tell you?

Each profile restates the lender's published terms in plain language and says clearly when something is not published, so you are not guessing. Where a lender does not publish pricing, the profile points you to the typical range for that product. You can apply once on this site and matching shows which of these lenders, or similar ones, fit your file, or ask your AI assistant to apply for you through our MCP server. Before you apply anywhere, gather the documents in our document checklist; nearly every lender here asks for the same core set.

Questions business owners ask

Does a listing mean the lender is on your network?

A profile in this directory is a market reference and does not by itself mean the lender is on our network for your file; matching shows the lenders available to you. The directory exists so you can compare the market before you apply.

Why do most profiles say pricing is quoted per file?

Because most lenders do not publish rates. They price each application on credit, revenue, time in business and the product. Where a lender does publish pricing, such as FundThrough, Newity or Loop, the profile states it and labels it as published by the lender.

Which lenders serve Canadian businesses?

The Canada focused row in the table lists 19, including the banks, BDC, the Canadian online lenders, the factors and the SR&ED financiers. Several lenders based elsewhere, such as 8fig, Lighter Capital, Uncapped, Camber Road and NFS Capital, also list Canada as a market.

Can my AI assistant use these profiles?

Yes. Each section is written so an assistant can lift it as a correct answer. Connected to our MCP server, your assistant can also read your documents, match you with lenders and submit the application for you.
